Terms of service

The rules for using Shirimlabs. Plain language where we could manage it.

Last updated October 14, 2026

Agreement

By using shirimlabs.com, the Shirimlabs console, or the Shirimlabs script (together, “the service”), you agree to these terms. If you use the service for a company, you agree on its behalf.

Plans

Every new account starts on the Free plan: one project, and up to 500 blocked agent visits per calendar month (UTC). After that, detection keeps running, but new agents aren’t blocked until the next month. Pro raises the limit to 10,000 blocked agent visits a month across up to 3 projects, and adds custom rules and paid access; you can ask to move to Pro from the console. Enterprise limits and terms are agreed with us directly. We may change what each plan includes, and we’ll tell account holders before a change that takes something away.

A young product

Shirimlabs is new and changing quickly. Features may change, break, or go away.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe; you’re responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has access to it.

Using the service

Don’t use the service to break the law, to attack or overload our systems or anyone else’s, or to try to reverse-engineer how detection works. Only install the script on sites you own or are allowed to change.

Your sites and your visitors

You decide which sites use Shirimlabs and what happens to agents on them. You’re responsible for telling your visitors about it, as your own privacy laws require. Data from your sites belongs to you; we use it to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy.

Detection is not perfect

We work hard to tell people and agents apart correctly, but no detection is right every time. Don’t rely on Shirimlabs as your only safeguard for anything critical.

Our product

Shirimlabs, its software, and its brand belong to us. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to own it.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service.

Ending things

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email.
